[He's sitting in the biodome with an outdated encyclopedia, starting with the letter "A". He chuckles at a few things that he's read but cares little about the pictures, since most of them weren't in color. He's laughing at something that he's read and turns the page to laugh even harder. He seems to be in the section that explains anatomy from as far along as he's read.
He turns the page again and stops his laughing for a moment. He takes on a more contemplative expression as he sighs and looks up at the artificial sky. His jaw tightens as he purses his lips in thought. This new experiment, which failed, gives him no interest whatsoever, or so he makes it appear.
He sets the book down and checks his arm and sighs again.]
They're getting sloppy again. By now, I would be itching. Instead, I'm simply bored.
[He finally takes notice of the beeping and blinks.]
More and more, it seems, these devices take a mind of their own to catch me at the strangest times.
[He doesn't seem to be interested in shutting off the device but instead sits there under the tree and picks up the book once again. His interests have waned greatly since his incident and has had way too much time to think. The things that would normally interest Willy no longer apply since he's unable to move as freely as he used to.]
White Day has come and gone. I hope that everyone is well and has done something special.
[What he really wanted to say, he kept to himself. He was depressed enough as it were since he's unable to do the things that he would like to do. He picks up his cane and closes the book with the covers making a loud thump. He has lost interest in reading.]
I suppose I'll find something else to do.
[He moves to stand up slowly, picking up his Faciliberry along the way, and manages a false smile. If one knew Willy well enough, they could see that he's faking it and very well. He's hiding something deep and he's not willing to talk about it...not yet.]
I think I'll take a walk.
[He heads toward the recreation room to drop off the book with the feed eventually timing out. He's lost interest in keeping his 'berry in check and doesn't seem to care anymore about the little things. He's got more important things on his mind and with his hands full with a cane in one hand, his concentration to stand as straight as he could, and with his left hand a little sore while holding the book, it was nearly impossible to bother shutting the thing off.]
